SCHOLARS COME FIRST!
Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School – Flightline is a tuition-free, open-enrollment, public charter school located on the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Our campus enrolls scholars in fifth through eighth grades from both military and non-military families.* Together our students, teachers, leaders, and partners create an environment that empowers our scholars to achieve their best.
Since opening in 2011, our school has perpetually offered exceptional educational opportunities to our scholars. Our school has earned the top ranking for academic schools in Jacksonville since its inception.
We are proud of the level of success of our scholars, but when your child enrolls in JLCS Flightline, they gain an experience that goes beyond academics. They have opportunities to explore instrumental music, vocal music, art, STEAM/robotics, foreign language studies and they have the opportunity to participate in Gifted and Talented studies.
We know that students need a school experience that is balanced. We also offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities including track, basketball, dance, volleyball, yearbook, and student council.
Please feel free to contact us at any time to learn more about how our award-winning curriculum and dedicated team’s commitment to supporting Every Student, Every Voice, Every Day can help your child excel.
*Our school is open to both military and non-military families; we will provide Air Force Base access badges for non-military families to access the installation.
We understand that our scholars have unique needs and interests. JLCS Flightline offers programs that foster more than just the academic success of our scholars. We center our focus on building scholars’ social/emotional character and academic performance.
